COSMETIC CASTING
CAST-IN TUBES, LOOSE PIECE, STEEL INSERTS
When straight core pulls are not feasible and can’t be used to define internal passages, such as lubrication or cooling channels, we provide cast-in tube solutions with great freedom of design and the possibility to cast in mass production highly complex design geometries including complicated undercuts and internal passages.
Inserts can be cast into the part. Hollow tubes, threaded inserts to fill out bosses, engine bore liners, loose piece and cast-in tubes.
Compared to the conventional die casting methods it has multiple advantages. Machining process elimination high pressure channel without leakages, (porosity issues) Convert Sand cast process into HPDC
